Advent Devotionals Advent is the season of preparation for celebrating the coming of Jesus Christ at Christmas and many of us use daily devotions as a way to focus on this preparation. Again, this year, we plan to develop our own devotional for this Advent Season and we invite you to be a part of the process. If you are interested, please pick up a booklet on the board in the Narthex. You may also contact Pastor Brian if you have any questions at email@example.com.
All Saints Sunday, November 3 and 4 are designated as All Saints Days. It is the day we remember those from our congregation who have been commended into the arms of our Almighty Lord during this past year. We also recognize those who were baptized since the last All Saints Sunday. Together we make up the body of Christ. This year, we are inviting you to bring a framed photo of those friends and family who have been saints in your life, pointing you to Christ’s love for us. These photos will be displayed during the worship services on tables in front of the sanctuary as a reminder of the great cloud of witnesses to God’s faithfulness across time.
